Helen Pilkington is a shoe designer and illustrator working in London, England. She is also a multi-media, multi-disciplinary artist.

 

Originally trained as a footwear designer at Cordwainer’s Colleague Footwear Design in the mid 90’s, she has had a continual interest in juxtaposing fashion and fine art.

 

Coming from a fashion background, textures, textiles and marks continue to be a fascination and appear throughout the process of her creative work. Her Masters in Fine art at Central Saint Martins continually informs her professional practice.

Pilkington currently works as a freelance designer and illustrator and is available to work on commision.
